Restoring Balance … Enjoying Life.

Can your family make it through a get together without at least
one person being glued to a smartphone or tablet?

Do you worry that your child is video game dependent?

Have you felt conflicted about the amount of time you spend on social media platforms?

I’m Dr. Anslie Stark and I feel your pain. As a clinical psychologist focused on video gaming and Internet dependence treatment, I can also tell you that digital technology is here to stay and, for most people, eliminating it completely isn’t a realistic solution.

I take a different approach, working with clients to moderate their behavior so they can still enjoy digital technologies, but in a healthier balance with other aspects of their lives.

A Better Way To Regain Control.

While the draw of digital technology can be overwhelmingly powerful, the good news is there’s a proven way to effectively treat dependence.

The cognitive behavioral therapy techniques I use in my practice teach clients how to manage their thoughts in a concrete way and learn new skills and coping strategies to moderate usage habits. Success comes when digital technology adds enjoyment and value to life and is enjoyed without guilt, conflict or compulsivity.

While my specialties are Internet, social media and video gaming dependence, I also specialize in life coaching, adults, children and couples’ therapy to help clients realize their larger goals through solution focused treatment. My mission is to make therapy easy for clients by breaking down barriers, identifying what they want to achieve, and offering not only face-to-face sessions in a physical location, but providing online and distance counseling resources as well.

Hit Your Brain’s Reset Button For More Success.

As a psychologist who has worked with people suffering from a wide range of behavioral health issues, it has been my experience that everybody can improve and be more successful in life. The key is to have someone you can trust to acquire the tools to reach your goals.

We look after our bodies by watching what we eat and going to the doctor when we’re sick. But our brain is the organ that runs everything and all too often we take it for granted. It is estimated that most people actively use only 10% of their brain. Can you imagine if we tapped into even just a bit more of that power? I’m here to help you do just that.

Let’s explore any mental, emotional or behavioral patterns standing in your way and hit the reset button to reach new levels of growth and fulfillment.
